Q: Tell us a little bit about Signature Series and what gets you excited about it.

A: Signature Series is a high spec flexible linear product with a wide range of outputs and color temperatures to work with practically any installation. It’s highly versatile and highly efficient, and it’s 95CRI no matter what options I choose.

Q: What aspects of Signature Series intrigued you the most?

A: I love that it is a flexible linear fixture that you can use throughout an entire project without having to change specifications, ensuring that your design is consistent throughout!

Q: Can you give a scenario where Signature Series would play a crucial role in achieving a specific design goal?

A: Since it’s so versatile, I can use it at 1.5w/ft for a toekick detail, can pop it up to 3w/ft to wash a bar die, can light up my bar shelves with damp rating, can use the 4.4w/ft for a standard cove, and if I want to eliminate point source lights but need the footcandles, I can use a 6w/ft to provide ambient illumination. I can go from a edison lamp CCT of 22k for accents in a restaurant to a cooler 30k in offices.

Q: What projects do you believe it’s best suited for?

A: It can work for literally any architectural lighting project. Signature Series provides a very high quality base line standard to use in any design project requiring linear accents. It’s suitable for gallery spaces due to its very high CRI, suitable for restaurants due to the very warm CCT ranges, suitable for offices due to the high output and high efficiency required to meet LEED and WELL standards. It has wire types that work for any installation. It is closet rated and title24 rated, so there isn’t a location in the US that it cannot be installed. There really isn’t a project that couldn’t benefit from Signature Series.

Q: What advice would you give to another lighting designer regarding incorporating Signature Series?

A: Try it out. Test it, sample it, use it where you like. It’s high quality, tight pitch, and worthy of top tier projects, and once you play with it, you’ll agree.

Q: What’s a creative application that comes to your mind?

A: Honestly it’s less about the unique applications and more about the wide variety of applications!
