Recommended control for color-changing digital
DMX to SPI DRGB/W decoder supports both the UCS 2904 SPI RGBW and UCS 2903 SPI RGB controller IC on the LED Linear.
This equates to the “receiver” and replaces our NF DMX PIXEL DECODER, which only supported UCS 2903 SPI RGB controller IC
Compatible with other, non-Nova DMX sources including Nico Laudie, Pharos, MADRIX, and QLC+
Also include one of the DMX Masters below, for functionality beyond the preprogrammed internal patterns. Both options work with the SPI-202 to act as a repeater, i.e., repeat the data along the full length of the strip for one complete DMX universe (512 channels), up to the number of unique addresses shown:
LEDbyDesign DiMX module for wireless control and up to 8 unique addresses
LTECH UB4 for wired wall plate control and up to 16 unique addresses. The UB4 also eliminates interference, pairing and distance hassles; the distance from this wall plate to the SPI-202 decoder can be up to 1000’ using CAT5.
Please note, the max acceptable distance from the SPI-202 decoder to the tape/fixture is 16.4’ (to avoid signal errors)
